AIThanks for joining, Priya. Walk me through the caching layer on your last project.
YouRedis in front of Postgres — cache-aside, with stale-while-revalidate on the read path.
AIAnd how did you handle invalidation when the underlying data changed?
YouEvent-driven busting on the write path, plus a short TTL as a safety net.
AINoted — strong systems fundamentals. When could you start, given your notice period?
YouThirty days from an offer.

Engineering philosophy

The thinking that runs through every exhibit above — stated plainly, applied to everything.

01

Build products, not just pages

Start from the problem and the user outcome. The stack is a means — the product is the point.

02

Engineering is about trade-offs

Technologies are chosen against constraints, not trends. Every exhibit above made a different set of calls for a different set of reasons.

03

Make the system reliable

Security, performance, failure modes and maintainability are design inputs — not clean-up tasks for after launch.

04

The interface is part of the engineering

Product quality includes interaction, accessibility and clarity. An API's shape and a loading state are engineering decisions too.

05

Keep learning, keep the record

The 2020 experiment in the exhibition ships exactly as it did. Older work stays visible on purpose — the archive is the journey, not a highlight reel.

05

About

The person behind the exhibits — kept short on purpose.

This portfolio
Work from across multiple years and different kinds of software — product interfaces, platforms, systems, creative experiments and tools. It is maintained the way the projects are: deliberately.
